I'm dead. Dead as a fish in a tank of oil.
I can't see the silver lining.
I see the full stop though. It's approaching.
I say I'm okay and I laugh,
but I really just want to stop being useless,
and not cry over something that's entirely my fault.
I tell myself I should have known this was coming.
But the truth is, I had been hanging on to that tiny glimpse of hope.
Now it doesn't seem like it was hope I was hanging onto.
No wait, I know it isn't, because I realised the thing I've been hanging on to,
was self-delusion.
God, help me. I've never felt so lost before.
