Wanted to write about a really joyous event I learnt of today, but the past few hours and all those tears took away my mood. Nonetheless, shall blog about it because it's something I wanna remember. If you're reading this, just read it while imagining it in a tone a hundred times happier.
So just now I was talking to Deborah, and she asked me to go find Bernice and ask her what happened yesterday. Just as I was about to ask Bernice what happened when I saw her, she happily showed me her hand, on which there was a pretty diamond ring hanging on her ring finger. I was like, "wow nice ring! Where did you buy it?" (Haha, stupid me.) Then she happily told me, "Melvin proposed to me yesterday." I was stunned for like, 3 seconds. I thought she was joking omg. When it finally registered in my mind that the piece of news was true, I was jumping up and down and exclaiming "Ohmygosh Bernice you're getting married!" Hahaha. This is my first time encountering such a thing: one of my closest friends getting proposed to. The feeling was a very weird one. It's like, a feeling containing "woohoo!", "omg!", "whuuuuut?!" all together. Bernice is like a little kid, so I'm always thinking she's 17/18, and now she's so close to getting married, the thought is scary as well as exhilarating. So happy for her. (: Melvin has always been her prince charming, and I know he'll treat her well and love her forever. (: Already looking forward to the wedding actually! LOL.
Deborah, Tricia and I then proceeded to talk about our proposal in the future. Okay, more like I listen to those two talk about their proposals. Haha. The difference between me and them, they've got potential husbands already. (: Really want Tricia to get married to Dexter. ^^ Marcus.. still have to consider la. Hahaha.
