& we are the Soul Searchers. ♥

It has been a year since the previous competition. Some familiar faces, other new interesting faces. Haha. To say Donovan's (bottom right orange guy) face is interesting is an understatement. Forever making us laugh during rehearsals. (:

I actually was rather unwilling to take part in SYNC this year. To take part would mean I have to sacrifice time, put in effort, not the mention I'll be thrown the part of choreography. Plus Deborah was not with our crew this year, so I really thought it was gonna suck. First few practices proved me right. We did not have any progress and rehearsals were cancelled at the very last minute, this pissed a lot of us off big time. Most of us didn't want to continue anymore, and since we didn't really come up with a lot of steps, disqualification was really really appealing to us.

BUT. We stuck together and chiong-ed like mad. Within 3-4 days, we basically created the 3min dance from scratch. When the competition was on Friday, we only came up with all the steps on Thursday night. We danced and danced and danced, to avoid embarrassment on stage. And in the end, it went really well. (:

Winning really isn't everything.

We didn't win, but I made a lot of awesome friends. (: JinSeong and I have been in the same ycg for quite some time, and yet our first real conversation was through this dance, when I was laughing at his mistakes hahaha. He did a leapfrog on me, which was damn cool omgggg. ^^ Kenwealth is also so cold and always playing his soccer or iphone games, but he's really cute and funny. ^^ I became a lot closer to Beatrice too, we smiled and laughed and I carried her! Hahaha. She's too cute. ^^ And cassandra. Although she could not really dance and had knee problems, she still agreed to help us and join. Even if it meant performing on stage, which she was terrified of. And Jeff, let's just say, I got to see the other side of him. Not so pretty, but it's an eye-opener. We jumped when high songs were playing, although JinSeong act cool say don't want, but he still jumped with us. And we have the overly-enthusiastic Donovan who was jumping even when all of us stopped. Hahaha. (: I really really love our dance crew! And though victory continued to elude us this year, I dare say we have the best bonded liveliest awesome dance crew! :D ♥

Now, I can't wait for next year. (:
